French chic with Parisian charm: The bags, shoulder bags, and clutches from Lanvin
When it comes to diverse labels in the haute couture sector, hardly any fashion metropolis rivals Paris. One of the longest-standing labels is Lanvin, which captures the charm of its founding era with bags, fashion, perfume, and accessories. With flowing fabrics, fur trims, and striking hats, Lanvin delights the runways. The design of Lanvin's bags and shoulder bags, however, remains minimalist, always using only the finest leather to meet the brand's high standards of quality.
Exotic types such as lamb leather or snake leather also find their place in the production of elegant handbags. The focus of Lanvin's handbag designs is on smaller models, which are perfect for on-the-go or evening events. Shoulder bags and clutches, such as the Mini Sugar Bag, feature a discreet, square design. Bold colors, clean stitching, and pretty pearl embellishments add tasteful highlights to the leather. Fresh animal prints are also part of the popular French label's collection.
Especially charming are the Lanvin minaudières, as these small evening bags made of a hard shell with a clasp closure remind one of handbag fashion from the early 20th century. However, with exclusive snake leather or in glamorous metallic looks, the minaudière makes a comeback. Larger models such as handbags and tote bags for everyday use are also offered by Lanvin. The noble and elegant design harmonizes perfectly with an elevated casual style or business attire, so a woman can equip herself for any occasion with a bag or wallet from Lanvin.
Lanvin bags and wallets: Accessories from one of Paris' oldest fashion houses
Traditional houses always bring a personal touch, and that is especially true for Lanvin. The label was founded in 1889 by Jeanne Lanvin, who opened a millinery shop. Over the decades, Lanvin grew into a renowned fashion house for women's, men's, and children's clothing, led by Jeanne Lanvin. After her death in 1946, the label remained in family ownership until 1980. A relaunch of the label occurred only in the new millennium, when the label was acquired by Mrs. Shaw Lan Wang. Since then, Lanvin has been admired for its bags, fashion, and accessories, largely thanks to the creations of head designer Alber Elbaz. The designs sometimes reference the cuts of the 1920s, but the design has shed any outdated elements. With a Lanvin bag, shoulder bag, or wallet, you are always stylishly and absolutely Parisian. In terms of craftsmanship, Lanvin boasts over 125 years of experience.
